1. Who we are

Make It Viral is a free dashboard that helps YouTube creators understand their channels and plan videos. It is run by an individual creator, not a company. Contact: kr.ankit9198@gmail.com.

2. Make It Viral uses YouTube API Services

Make It Viral uses YouTube API Services to show YouTube data. By using Make It Viral you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

3. What we collect and why

• Your Google account name and email (when you sign in). Used to create your account and keep your data separate from other users.
• Your YouTube channel data, only if you choose "Connect my channel". With your permission we read your channel's videos and statistics (YouTube Data API, read-only) and your channel analytics such as views, watch time, retention, subscribers and thumbnail click rate (YouTube Analytics and Reporting APIs, read-only). We never upload, edit, delete, comment or change anything on your channel.
• Editing your videos, only if you separately choose "Allow edits". With that permission Make It Viral can update the title, description, tags and thumbnail of videos on your own connected channel, and only when you review a change and click Apply. It never uploads, deletes or changes the privacy of videos. Before each change we keep a copy of the previous title, description, tags or thumbnail for up to 30 days so you can undo it; then it is deleted.
• Public YouTube data you look up: videos, channels, search results, trending charts, titles, tags and thumbnails.
• Things you type or save: competitor lists, keywords, questions to the AI coach, and optional API keys (a YouTube Data API key and a Google AI Studio key).
• Usage counts: how many API credits and AI answers you used each day, so we can apply fair daily limits.

4. How we store it

• Data is stored in our database (hosted by our hosting providers). Your channel login tokens, your saved API keys and your settings are encrypted.
• Data received from YouTube is kept as a short-term cache (minutes to hours) to save quota, and is deleted automatically within 30 days.
• Copies kept for "Undo" are deleted after 30 days, or right away when you delete your account.
• We use two cookies: cs_session keeps you signed in, and mv_oauth (10 minutes) protects the Google sign-in step. No advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Who we share it with

• Google / YouTube: requests go to YouTube's APIs to get your data.
• Google Gemini API: when you use an AI feature (Today's video, the ask box, audit, ideas, title ideas, thumbnail patterns), the related channel statistics, video titles, tags and thumbnail images are sent to Google's Gemini API to create the answer.
• We do not sell your data, show ads, or share your data with anyone else, except if required by law.

6. Your choices: disconnect and delete

• Disconnect a channel: Settings → "Disconnect". This deletes the stored login for that channel.
• Delete everything: Settings → "Delete my account and data". This removes your account, settings, channel logins, usage records and cached personal data, and asks Google to revoke our access.
• You can also remove Make It Viral's access at any time from your Google account: security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

7. Children

Make It Viral is not meant for children under 13. YouTube's own age rules also apply.

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
